Where we are
Tenerife
Tenerife is the largest and most populous of the Canary Islands off the coast of northwestern Africa. Known as the "Island of Eternal Spring" for its ideal year-round climate, Tenerife offers a remarkable diversity of landscapes and attractions. The massive volcanic Mount Teide dominates the island, dividing it into the lush, green north and the arid, resort-filled south. Tenerife hosts one of the world's biggest Carnival celebrations and boasts a rich cultural heritage, from colonial towns to modern architecture. Popular activities include beach-going, hiking, water sports, stargazing, and visiting national parks. With excellent food, wine, accessibility via two international airports, and well-developed transportation, Tenerife is a premier vacation destination packing a huge variety of offerings into one island.
The North
The north of Tenerife provides a lush, green and dramatic natural landscape in contrast to the arid south. It features the rugged Anaga mountains with ancient forests, fertile valleys like Orotava with banana plantations, black sand beaches, and a cooler, more humid climate. The cultural hub of Puerto de la Cruz and picturesque towns like La Orotava showcase the island's colonial heritage and authentic Canarian atmosphere away from the major tourist resorts. Popular activities include hiking on scenic mountain and coastal trails, water sports, whale watching, and visiting parks and gardens. With its verdant beauty, traditional villages, and outdoor pursuits, the tranquil north offers an immersive experience in Tenerife's natural splendor and local life.

“We stayed at Vista Del Drago in August and can highly recommend it. We are a family of 4 and had ample room as the Finca has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a dining area, a kitchen and lounge. It has been furnished to a high standard throughout and even includes USB charge points which came in handy for the numerous gadgets the kids wanted to bring with them! The roof terrace has stunning views and we spent many a happy night, unwinding from a busy day of sightseeing, with a glass of wine or 2! The historic town of Icod de los Vinos is about a 10 minute walk from the Finca and is definitely worth visiting for the numerous bars and restaurants, not to mention the banana museum. Nearby Garachico has an outdoor public pool as well as large rockpools that you can swim in. The volcano is a must as the sheer size of it has to be seen to be believed. Our hosts really made us feel welcome and we would definitely go back. We loved it..”
